DREAM WALK FOR NORTH DEVON HOSPICE

Reporter: Seth Conway

Like a scene from a fantasy film Castle Hill at Filleigh near Barnstaple shone last night, just a taster of what the Lightquest team have in store for later this year.

DAVE BRYANT, LIGHTQUEST ORGANISER "The estate itself is full of the most magical, magical spaces and when you add a little bit of light, a little bit of clever technology it becomes very, very special". The estate and grounds will be lit with one hundred thousand torches, lights and lanterns as hundreds of musicians and performers entertain along the three and a half mile route raising money for the North Devon Hospice.

LADY ARRAN, PRESIDENT, NORTH DEVON HOSPICE:"I think it's the most special thing to have ever happened in North Devon and I think we're all proud and very happy to be part of it knowing that it's going to actually contribute to a very, very important cause"

Last year thirteen thousand people attended. The event this year is to be known as Dreamwalk and takes place on the August bank holiday weekend of the 23rd. Seth Conway for Westcountry News.
